This October, we’re taking scraps to the heart of Amsterdam.
As part of the Amsterdam 750 celebrations, this special edition of lifescraps is all about the city we call home.
Amsterdam isn’t just canals, bikes, and clichés — it’s a collage in itself: layered, messy, beautiful, sometimes chaotic, always surprising. Through sustainable scrapbooking and collage, we’ll capture fragments of what it feels like to live, love, and land here right now.
What makes this one special:
✨ A longer session — part guided workshop, part open “drop-in” style. You choose how you want to participate.
✨ A theme that ties into Amsterdam 750: reflecting on the past, present, and future of our city through scraps and stories: lots of Amsterdam-focused materials provided.
✨ A chance to play with textures, words, and images — your own and from our shared stash of sustainable materials.
No art skills required. You don’t need to “be creative” to join — just curiosity and maybe a few scraps that remind you of Amsterdam (receipts, postcards, maps, photos, doodles, whatever you’ve got).
By the end, you’ll leave with pages that celebrate your Amsterdam — whether you’re a born-and-raised local, a fresh arrival, or somewhere in between.
