lifescraps @ De Sering: Pride Week Drop-In Collage Session
Looking for a creative way to spend a summer evening with some of the best views in Amsterdam?
Join lifescraps for a free drop-in collage session at De Sering Centraal during the Amsterdam Pride Week! There is no set start time, no guided workshop, and no experience required. Come for ten minutes or stay for three hours. Follow a prompt, start with a feeling, respond to a magazine image that catches your eye, or simply see where the scraps take you.
The session takes place in the room next to De Sering's restaurant — feel free to stop by before dinner, after dinner, or somewhere in between. I'll be around throughout the evening to help with ideas, inspiration, techniques, creative blocks, or simply to chat about collage and life.
Whether you're a seasoned maker, a curious beginner, a local, a visitor, coming with friends or arriving solo, you're welcome here.
No pressure to make something beautiful. No pressure to finish. Just a few hours of paper, conversation, creativity, and community.
This collage session is completely free to attend, though donations are always welcome if you'd like to support future events.
TLDR WHAT TO EXPECT:

lifescraps: [Theme TBA]
Join us at De Sering Centraal for a Sunday afternoon of cutting, glueing, vibing, and creative exploration. The theme is still making its way from sketchbook to reality, but if previous lifescraps editions are anything to go by, expect thoughtful prompts, cosy chats, and a table full of possibilities.
LIFESCRAPS: wishcards & wishMAPS
As winter settles in and the year draws to a close, there's just something special about gathering to create with intention. Join us on November 8 for a warm afternoon of collaging where you'll craft wishcards for the people you love (whether holiday-themed or not) and design vision boards (“wishmaps”) for the year to come that turn your dreams into visual reminders.
LIFESCRAPS: AMSTERDAM
As part of the Amsterdam 750 celebrations, this special edition of lifescraps is all about the city we call home. Amsterdam isn’t just canals, bikes, and clichés — it’s a collage in itself: layered, messy, beautiful, sometimes chaotic, always surprising. Through sustainable scrapbooking and collage, we’ll capture fragments of what it feels like to live, love, and land here right now.
lifescraps x Studio/K: Scrap the System
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
LIFESCRAPS: LA-LA-LAND(ED)
lifrescraps: la-la-land(ed) is a workshop about those collisions: hopes vs. reality, chaos vs. calm, imagination vs. “real life.” Through collage, we’ll chart the places (literal or metaphorical) we’ve landed in — cities, relationships, moods, states of mind.
30 DAYS OF SCRAPS
30 Days of Scraps is a month-long challenge for anyone who wants to spark their creativity, slow down for a moment each day, and make something out of nothing (literally) this September.
LIFESCRAPS LAUNCH PARTY
On August 27, we launched lifescraps in style at cosy Bar Bario, turning a regular Wednesday into a night of paper, glue, and DIY joy. Curious locals, fellow collage lovers, and unwitting tourists wandered in, grabbed a glue stick, and got scrappy.
lifescraps @ de Ceuvel's Pleinfeest
On August 23, De Ceuvel opened its creative shipyard for a free neighbourhood street party. The day blended music, food, art, workshops, and community — a playful festival of sustainability and imagination right in the heart of Amsterdam Noord.
