On October 15, Studio/K and lifescraps join forces for an evening of conversation and creativity about activism, expression, and the roles we play in shaping change. What does activism look like, and what does it mean to us?
SCHEDULE:
18:00 – 19:00: We will kick off with an interactive discussion. Our guest speaker, a seasoned activist in the Netherlands and beyond, will share their background and unpack different activist archetypes — from the behind-the-scenes organisers to the loud-and-proud creatives. This is a safe space to share our thoughts and experiences, so bring your questions, opinions, and curiosity.
19:20– 21:00: After a short break, we’ll roll up our sleeves for a lifescraps workshop. You’ll be introduced to the lifescraps framework and guided through warm-up exercises to get your ideas flowing. From there, you’re free to create: a protest sign, a visual diary page, or whatever scrap of expression feels right.
This session is open to everyone — whether you’ve been marching for years, are just starting to explore activism, or simply want to experiment with creative tools for reflection. No prior art or activism experience is needed; all materials will be provided.
