30 Days of Scraps is a month-long challenge for anyone who wants to spark their creativity, slow down for a moment each day, and make something out of nothing (literally).
It’s part scavenger hunt and part recipe. Think:
“Find and collage with 3 scraps from your commute.”
“Make a page using only red pieces.”
“Use 10 random scraps — no more, no less.”
For this round, I’m keeping it tiny: working in a pocket-sized notebook so I can create on the go — whether I’m home, at a café, or halfway across the city. No big tables or perfect tools needed. Just scraps, glue, and a few minutes of play.
Here’s how it works:
✨ Every day, I pull a prompt on lifescraps’ instagram => a few hours later, I share my collage based on that theme.
✨ You can join in whenever, wherever — all month long.
✨ Share your pages by tagging @lifescraps.nl and/or with the hashtag #30daysofscraps (or keep them private — your scraps, your rules).
✨ Play with what you’ve got: ticket stubs, receipts, packaging, photos, torn-up notes, or pieces from your recycling pile.
This isn’t about perfection. It’s about curiosity, rhythm, and letting your scraps tell the story.
Whether you stick with it all 30 days or just drop in here and there, you’ll end September with a mini scrapbook of weird, wonderful, unexpected pages — a diary of little moments that usually go unnoticed.
Come scrap along!
